Kinsale

TRAVEL
Cork Airport
There are no direct flights from the US to Cork, but if you’re looking for the shortest drive possible or don’t want to rent a car, the airport is just a 20 min taxi to Kinsale. There are daily connecting flights from London and Manchester that are about an hour.

Shannon Airport
You can fly direct to Shannon, it’s about a two hour drive to Kinsale. It’s a small, easy airport and a great option if you’re renting a car and want to explore the west of Ireland.

Dublin Airport
You can also fly direct to Dublin on the east coast, it’s about a three-hour drive to Kinsale. If you’re not driving, the train from Dublin Heuston to Cork City takes about the same time.

HOTELS / B&Bs
We have stayed here and would recommend it. It’s one of the bigger hotels with lots of options for rooms and parking. They do not do wedding blocks in August, unfortunately, but have a discounted rate on 3-night stays.
